This free-flowering, hardy, herbaceous plant will thrive in any light, rich soil. It bears elegant spikes of white flowers. It is readily propagated by seeds.

The gaura lindheimeri grows to a height of 4 ft.

It flowers in May and onwards, followed by red bracts in September.
